Directing Anger
Emotions have always been
an important part of our overall personality. Your way of expressing emotions
is a factor through which people tend to perceive you. There are various
emotions which a person has such as happiness, sadness, fear, anger, surprise.
Everyone has their own way of expressing these emotions depending on the past
experiences and intensity of the situation. Anger is one such emotion in which
we usually make bad decisions which we most of the time regret later. Being
angry or showing our emotions are never wrong but we should try and utilize our
anger and emotions in some productive things rather than damaging ourselves
physically or mentally.
Now let us look at wider
picture by relating anger with Yin and Yang Theory, anger is an energy within
us which has a lot of potential in grooming our overall personality. The
universe is filled with energies and cosmic duality as per the Yin and Yang
Theory which is mentioned in Taoism Culture originated in China. The Black
portion is Yin and the White portion is Yang, Yin depicts the dark side and
Yang depicts the bright side. It is necessary that both the energies are in
balance in nature that’s the reason behind the small dot of opposite color in
each of the portions. Yin depicts night and Yang depicts day but we can’t
really opt for one as both are required for maintain the balance of the
Universe.
Anger shouldn’t be
totally suppressed inside our body otherwise it will burst out in a very bad
manner in the future. Instead we should direct our energy so that we utilize
our energy in our own good. For e.g. a kid who is having temper issues can be
enrolled into MMA practice, by following the routine he will eventually grow in
the field as well as direct his anger in the practice and will be able to mold
his energy. The Universe won’t be balanced if everyone has a happy nature this
will only happen when people will stop expressing their emotions. Next time when
you see someone unable to control their anger just have a word with them and
hear them out and help in directing their anger.
Mantra:
The main question is how we direct our anger and the answer to this is also
pretty obvious and is lying within you just have leap of faith.
